Keith Alexander, in Memoriam

keithAlexander.jpg

Yesterday morning, Thorninpaw lost a friend, a mentor, and a truly free-spirited inspiration, in an accident. The loss is devastating, as Keith Alexander was not only a contributor, but one of my teachers at The New School University, my reason for embarking on my destiny, and a friend.

Keith was one of the true believers in the web as an interactive, empowering and expanding medium. He was one of the good guys. One of the true experts. An interactive Evangelist.

What I liked about him most was that he was never afraid to be himself. His body art sometimes got covered by an Oxford, his vernacular muffled, his colors muted, but Keith had a well-informed point-of-view that you were going to know and a big heart that you were going to feel.
His life story as portrayed by his sister in video here.

Will miss you Keith
