In her post last November 5, Christa promised to speak truth to power concerning the new administration. Yet all the recent posts are fluff pieces, i.e., beer labels. Where is the Obama = Hitler? Where is the unhappiness with:
1. Continued use of military tribunals.
2. Continued use of rendition.
3. Continued use military "detention facilities," e.g. Bagram.
4. Continued use of signing statements.
5. Continued use of "state secrets" doctrines.
6. Continued use of the "Patriot Act."
7. Failure to oppose "Don't ask, don't tell" in the military.
8. Failure to oppose the Defense of Marriage Act.
9. Failure to push the Freedom of Choice Act.
10. Massive expansion of the federal deficit.
11. Massive expansion of federal authority over financial institutions.
12. Massive expansion of federal authority over the health insurance industry.
I like the concept of bacon vodaka as much as the next guy, but still . . . .
Alternatively, more primates please.

If all these issues were addressed, what else would there be to do or complain about?

In the meanwhile he is just in the middle of overhauling Banking Regulation and the Health Care System, as well as Cyber Security, Housing Market incentives, our Relations with the Middle East and more.

But he'll get to the others dear readers, and the guilty will be punished.
