My note to Congress on this DC Marriage Equality petition:
I am deeply offended that American citizens are still fighting for the civil protections of the law, especially with regard to marriage, in this day and age. I am also dismayed that members of Congress have forgotten the separation of Church and State so wisely ingrained in the Constitution by our esteemed fore-fathers. I am signing this petition, a happily married, heterosexual, Catholic, completely frustrated with the pedestrian, often sophomoric, law-making process that brings me to have to do so.
Please join me in helping to save DC's new law.
