Nicely done!
Similar to a short film I had seen some time ago; same evolutionary theory. It was set to Abaddon's Bolero and started with some space-being tossing a drink bottle onto the virgin planet earth. The film evolved with progressive evolution from left to right with the bottled liquid leaving the bottle and evolving into higher life forms.
The ending of course was modern man, who had just erected a god-like statue of himself. At the final scene, the statue splits open, revealing a grimacing ape inside.
I wish I could find that film.
